Designer

The first job I ever loved was at T-Shirts Unlimited. I started my design career doing ink-on-vellum illustrations, took a detour into retail management, and came back to design in 2006. Design has been part of every role since.

Developer

Clearly Media hired me as their first employee. I started as a graphic designer and quickly learned HTML and CSS, then how to bring my designs into CMS platforms — over 75 sites. Since then I've built Sitecore templates with back-end teams, Razor .NET front ends, and now full-stack Next.js apps with AI as a collaborator.

Leader

My career success has typically come from my ability — and willingness — to communicate. UX sits squarely between product and development, where teams most often get stuck. Knowing the development cycle, having managed teams, and being willing to compromise lets me be the bridge.

Illustrator and writer

I love to draw, and I've been published several times. I create comics and graphic novels, and one is on its way to a publisher. Sketching has been part of my design process from the start.

80s kid

I grew up on Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Dark Crystal, and a thousand Saturday-morning cartoons, riding bikes across small towns. My mind doesn't turn off, so I point it at stories — which also comes in handy for content and messaging.
